Born in Nebraska in 1973, Amy Lynn was an artist from an early age. Shortly after earning a BFA in painting from the University of Nebraska, Amy Lynn moved to Minneapolis where Lynn lived and began work as an artist. As Lynn's real life fused with her artistic life, the romantic world in Amy Lynn's paintings flourished. In 2004, Amy Lynn moved to Los Angeles, continuing to be inspired by cosmopolitan life. The characters Amy Lynn creates in her paintings hearken to the early 1900's and exude a strong sense of the glamorous lifestyles of the time period.
