- Diptych 10 ½" x 12 ½" and 10 ½" x 12 ½"
The Daffy Giclee print is a reproduction from a vintage drawing borrowed from the Bob Clampett archives. Drawn by Clampett, it appeared in the 1937 classic, "Porky's Duck Hunt," which was Daffy's first cartoon and initial pairing with Porky Pig.
With Warner Bros. attempt to supplant the popularity of Disney's Donald Duck, Warner Bros. Director, Tex Avery enlisted Clampett to create several ducks with varying personalities. However, it was Clampett's idea to roll these personalities into one duck, thus creating Daffy.
The edition of 137 signifies 1937, the year "Porky's Duck Hunt" was released.
