The whole Looney Tunes gang LOVE The Ride! Pepe Le Pew and Penelope head up the field on their exciting new FLHRCI Road King Classic motorcycle. Featuring such mechanical refinements as the vibration-isolated Black and Chrome Twin Cam 88 engine, Standard Electronic Fuel Injection, Wire-laced wheels with Wide Whitewall tires and triple-disc brakes and a large, tank-mounted speedometer, this stunning cruiser also offers a large headlight/chrome nacelle, tooled leather seat, leather-wrapped hard saddlebags and a detachable windshield as standard amenities. Wish all this (plus a myriad of optional accessories available) Pepe and Penelope are the envy of the whole Looney Tunes Ride-A-Thon!
The image began with an original drawing by artist Kirk Mueller. A Master ink line of Pepe, Penelope and their FLHRCI Road King Classic motorcycle was made by Laurie Dindis, which was silk screened onto an acetate sheet (or 'cel'), along with the Warner Bros. seal of authenticity. Each cel was then expertly hand painted on the reverse side in the classic animation style. The remaining characters, motorcycles and fairground scene were rendered by artist Hector Martinez, and reproduced utilizing a fine art lithograph process on acid-free, archival paper stock. In the final step of production, the limited edition number was inked on each cel in an edition size of 500. Each cel in the edition comes with an embroidered Harley Davidson Bar-and-Shield Downing Eagle patch. Upon completion of the edition, the master inking and original background background were archived.
